About this role

Join the materials development and evaluation team to support the creation of innovative cell products. Conduct daily testing on a variety of materials and report results to engineers for analysis to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.

Perform powder materials characterization and chemical testing including SEM PSD XRD particle size analysis tap density moisture content acid base titration and TGA Conduct electrochemical characterization of powder materials through electrode synthesis and assembly of lithium-ion cell prototype coin cells Operate maintain and troubleshoot routine analytical instruments Assist in optimizing testing parameters and developing new methods Communicate with engineers and technicians on characterization results and provide feedback on data quality and reliability

- Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials Science or Metallurgy or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience working in chemistry labs
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently to meet target goals
- Meticulous approach to data tracking observation and communication
- Willingness to collaborate and take on challenges in unfamiliar areas
- Ability to stay engaged while performing repetitive tasks

Expected Compensation $24.40 - $65.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
