Field Service Foreman
The Third Estimate is looking for an experienced Field Service Foreman to supervise residential exterior projects in the field and help ensure every job is completed to our quality standards.
This is a hands-on position for someone with residential exterior construction experience who is comfortable supervising crews, working directly with homeowners, inspecting completed work, troubleshooting issues, and performing minor repairs when needed.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise active job sites and installation crews to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards
- Conduct final walkthroughs and inspections with homeowners, ensuring complete satisfaction before job closeout
- Perform minor service repairs, punch-list work, and adjustments related to roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and doors
- Serve as the field liaison between homeowners, installers, and the production team
- Review project scopes, installation details, and production plans to ensure crews have everything needed for success
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to prevent delays or callbacks
- Document job progress, repairs, and completed work through photos, videos, and written notes using tools like CompanyCam
- Communicate additional damage, repair opportunities, or change-order needs to the appropriate internal teams
- Collect final paperwork, completion photos, and customer sign-offs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site environment
- Ensure job data, notes, and updates are accurately entered into Salesforce
- Respond promptly to homeowner and internal team communication
- Support the production and project management teams with additional field needs
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of residential exterior construction experience
- Strong background in roofing, siding, gutters, windows, or doors
- Experience supervising job sites, crews, or subcontractors
- Ability to confidently communicate with homeowners and manage expectations professionally
- Skilled at troubleshooting installation issues and handling minor repairs independently
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and navigating varying roof pitches
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in changing weather conditions
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Salesforce, and mobile documentation apps
- Dependable, punctual, and able to take ownership of job completion
- Strong working knowledge of exterior remodeling systems and repair methods
- Ability to travel between job sites throughout the region
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
