About this role

About D1 Training
D1 Training is a premier athletic-based fitness facility built on training athletes and everyday performers of all ages. At our Sandy Springs location, we're focused on growing our community presence and bringing more members through our doors. We're looking for someone who can get us in front of the right people — out in the community, face-to-face.
About the role
We're hiring an Organic Marketing Coordinator to represent D1 Training out in the Sandy Springs area. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role — no email campaigns, no social media, no digital marketing. Your job is to find the right local events, get us in the door, run a great presence on-site, and come back with quality leads. If you're outgoing, organized, and love being face-to-face with people, this is for you.
What you'll do
• Research and identify local events, expos, school and youth sports functions, community gatherings, and business partnerships where our audience shows up
• Book and secure our spot — negotiate booth/table space, handle registrations, and lock in dates
• Coordinate all event logistics: materials, signage, giveaways, setup, and teardown
• Work the events in person — set up the booth, engage attendees, pitch D1 Training, and capture leads
• Build relationships with schools, sports leagues, local businesses, event organizers, and venues for repeat opportunities
• Track leads generated at each event and report on what's working
• Manage an event calendar and keep everything running on schedule and on budget

What we're looking for
• 1–3 years in event marketing, field marketing, promotions, sales, or a similar people-facing role
• A natural, confident communicator who's comfortable starting conversations with strangers
• Highly organized — you can juggle bookings, logistics, and deadlines without dropping the ball
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on-site
• Willing to travel locally and work evenings/weekends when events call for it
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable lifting and transporting booth materials and setup gear
• Passion for fitness, sports, or athletic performance is a big plus

Nice to have
• Existing relationships with local schools, sports leagues, or event organizers in the Sandy Springs area
• Experience hitting lead or sales targets
• Background in fitness, sports, or membership-based sales
