What You'll Do
As a PACU RN, you will:
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative recovery and discharge instructions
- Coordinate care plans and advocate for patients throughout the recovery process
- Supervise and support care provided by ancillary staff as appropriate

Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a compact licensure state
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Previous PACU, post-anesthesia, critical care, or surgical nursing experience
