This position is a hybrid role with 3 days a week out of our Milwaukee, WI Global Headquarters.
What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of AP Specialists, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the transformation of AP/PTP processes through standardization, automation, technology enablement, and process improvement.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement by analyzing performance, trends, root causes, and service expectations, then develop and implement sustainable solutions.
- Establish and reinforce standard work, approval requirements, segregation of duties, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex vendor, payment, process, and service-related issues.
- Partner with Procurement, Treasury, IT, business stakeholders, and external solution providers to improve the overall PTP experience and effectiveness.
- Own AP/PTP technology solutions from a business perspective and help identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation.
- Establish and monitor service expectations and performance metrics, driving accountability and continuous improvement across the function.
- Help shape the future-state Procure-to-Pay organization as capabilities and ownership continue to evolve.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- 6–8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay, including experience leading and developing teams.
- Experience leading operations in a process-driven, shared services, or similarly high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvement, automation, AP transformation, or operational change.
- Experience with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is preferred.
- Experience owning or supporting business systems and partnering with IT and technology solution providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of AP controls, approval requirements, segregation of duties, and compliance.
- Ability to establish accountability for service expectations and effectively resolve escalated internal and external issues.
