About this role

Job Summary

Voltage is seeking an experienced   QMS Manager   to lead and maintain the Quality Management System across our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Global Director of Quality, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality policies while driving continuous improvement and supporting successful new product launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the   Quality Management System (QMS) .
- Ensure compliance with   ISO 9001, IATF 16949 , customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Lead   APQP and PPAP   activities for new product launches and ensure completion of PFMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, capability studies, and related deliverables.
- Manage   Document Control and Quality Records , including revisions, approvals, retention, and change control.
- Lead and support   internal, customer, certification, and third-party audits .
- Drive corrective and preventive actions using   8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA .
- Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and train Quality Systems personnel and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a key quality contact for customers and certification agencies.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to improve quality performance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of Quality Systems experience   in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of quality leadership experience .
- Strong experience with   ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, CAPA, and audit management .
- Experience managing   Document Control and Records Management systems .
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience in   wire harness, cable assembly, automotive, electronics, or industrial manufacturing   preferred.

Work Environment

This position works in both office and manufacturing environments. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and wear required PPE while on the production floor.
