Join Our Installation Team in Anchorage
Renewal by Andersen is seeking a precise, hands-on Installation Manager to lead residential window and door projects in Anchorage and support work in remote Alaska regions as needed.
This role combines technical measurement, estimating, field leadership, project management, customer service, and installation crew development. Because measurement and scope errors directly affect project cost and the homeowner experience, success requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and full ownership of every project.

Schedule
The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Installation Manager must be available between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM when project needs, installer schedules, customer issues, or travel require support outside regular hours.
What You Will Do
You will manage the installation life cycle from technical measure through project completion, with accountability for accuracy, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
Technical Measurements and Estimating
- Measure window and door openings accurately within required timeframes
- Assess site conditions, confirm specifications, and identify installation risks before work begins
- Build labour estimates, scopes of work, installation methods, and material requirements
- Complete and submit Installation Field Checklist forms and verify all project information
- Confirm projects meet company policies, construction requirements, manufacturing standards, and financial objectives
Installation and Project Management
- Manage each project through installation and completion, including subcontractor direction and job-level financial decisions
- Determine project complexity, workflow, and the skills required for successful installation
- Conduct job site visits and provide hands-on support to installation crews
- Coach new crew leads and installers to maintain consistent quality standards
- Monitor first-time completion, installation quality, project schedules, and homeowner satisfaction
- Verify payment has been received when each project is completed
Customer Service and Issue Resolution
- Educate homeowners about the installation process and project expectations
- Respond professionally to concerns and de-escalate difficult customer situations
- Diagnose service and installation issues, identify root causes, and coordinate timely solutions
- Protect the company’s reputation through clear communication, accurate follow-through, and professional conduct
Team Leadership and Operational Support
- Provide coaching, training, development, and day-to-day support to installation crews
- Identify training gaps and coordinate the support needed to improve performance
- Build strong working relationships and remember the project and personal details that support effective communication
- Meet regularly with Operations and Project Management leaders regarding installer performance and business needs
- Schedule technician measure appointments on a rotational basis
- Travel to remote Alaska regions to support installation operations when required
- Improve installation processes, operational efficiency, and consistency
