About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives through the application of HARMAN Production System (HPS) principles.

This position is responsible for maintaining production equipment and tooling in optimal operating conditions according to established maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

- Execute assigned tasks while following all safety requirements to prevent accidents.
- Operate and support production lines to achieve manufacturing objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the scheduled production plan.
- Follow approved Visual Job Instructions (VJIs) and Work Standards (WS).
- Ensure product conformity and cycle time compliance.
- Achieve scrap reduction targets.
- Identify and implement waste reduction initiatives.
- Identify and implement improvements that increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper functionality of production equipment throughout the plant.
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance activities according to the Maintenance Schedule Plan.
- Ensure availability of plant equipment and tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and equipment failures.
- Close preventive and corrective maintenance work orders in SAP, including accurate downtime reporting.
- Perform root cause analysis using HPS problem-solving methodologies.
- Maintain production areas in accordance with 5S standards and participate in 5S audits.
- Support the classification and temporary storage of hazardous, urban solid, and special waste.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.

Education & Experience

- Engineering degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field; or
- Technical University Degree (TSU) in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Industrial Control, or related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Maintenance Department.
- Basic English proficiency.
