We are looking for a Information Assurance Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD . Seeking Level 2-4 engineers.
The I nformation Assurance Systems Engineer participates in system, hardware, and software design activities with focus on requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure support for security certification. Develops technical documentation and product capability presentations. Develops system architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and the deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Responsibilities: Levels 2-4
- Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products.
- Independently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.
- Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.

Requirements: Level 2:
- Six (6) years of experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Level 3:
- Ten (10) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree.
- An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
Level 4:
- Fifteen (15) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree.
- An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science may be used to substitute 2 years of experience and a PHD in Engineering or Computer Science may be used to substitute 4 years of experience.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
