Job Description
Under the supervision of the Security Officers Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for performing security duties on the work premises.
What you will be responsible for :
- Controlling entries and exits (visitors, employees, clients)
- Patrolling, on foot or by vehicle, the buildings as well as the yard (AIM Montréal and Laval)
- Assuring excellent Customer service
- Ensuring the protection of evidence in the event of an offense
- Protecting the premises in case of an incident
- Intervening in case of fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, or the presence of hazardous materials
- Writing reports and logs
- Crime prevention
- Locking and unlocking doors
- Conducting searches in case of suspicion
- Performing any other related tasks
Qualifications
To join our team :
- You are able to work shifts: nights, weekends
- You have a high school diploma
- You have a valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée
- You have valid first aid certification
- You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- You are bilingual, French and English (written and spoken)
- You have a clean criminal record
- You have the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally
- You have excellent judgment, observation, and communication skills
- You have completed a first aid course and hold your CPR card
- You have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
