About this role
A Day in the Life:
As a Concierge, your day is centered around helping customers plan and coordinate their shopping needs from start to finish. You’re the go‑to for bringing all the details together, whether it’s a catering order, special request, or event planning coordination. You’ll greet customers, gather order details, and guide selections across departments to ensure everything aligns with the customer’s needs.
A key part of the role is keeping everything organized and on track. You’ll coordinate orders with multiple departments, monitor progress, and confirm that each order is prepared, completed, and ready on time. From reviewing daily orders to following through on special requests, the role stays active throughout the day, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys organization, coordination, and keeping processes running smoothly.
What you bring to the table:
- Customer Interaction Skills: Clear communication when gathering order details and guiding customers through selections
- Order Coordination: Experience managing orders from intake through completion while maintaining accuracy
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with catering items, party planning needs, and cross‑department offerings
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in order entry, pricing, timing, and special request tracking
- Organization & Time Management: Managing multiple orders while maintaining timelines and workflow
- Event & Planning Awareness: Knowledge of food quantities, pairings, and event planning considerations
- Cross-Department Coordination: Communicating order needs across departments to ensure preparation aligns with specifications
- Adaptability: Comfort handling changing priorities, customer requests, and daily workload needs
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and lift items as needed up to 60lbs
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1–2 years of hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred
- Food Safety Certification required and must maintain a valid Food Handler’s Permit
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to support customer orders and events
