Earnings Potential:
***Up to $10,000.00 sign-on bonus available based on certifications and experience***
The compensation range for this role is $45.00 - $55.00+ per flat rate hour. Hourly Wage is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonuses for eligible roles, commissions, and competitive benefits.

What You'll Do
As a Master Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers' vehicles operating safely and efficiently while serving as a technical resource within the service department.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of drivability, electrical, mechanical, and performance-related concerns.
- Complete repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with service advisors and management.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and warranty information.
- Stay current with manufacturer technical bulletins, service procedures, and emerging vehicle technologies.
- Conduct road tests as required to verify repairs and diagnose concerns.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting apprentice and developing technicians.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Technical or trade school degree
- Minimum of three years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Master Technician-level experience, including proven significant experience performing advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, drivability repairs, and complex vehicle system repairs.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a flat-rate service environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Willingness to attend manufacturer and company-sponsored training.
- Prior dealership experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certifications.
- EV Experience/Training/Certifications
- Current or previous GM Master Technician certification strongly preferred.
- Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostic expertise.
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex customer-pay and warranty concerns with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of manufacturer repair procedures, service information systems, technical service bulletins (TSBs), and warranty requirements.
- Ability to accurately document repair procedures, diagnostic findings, and recommendations in accordance with dealership and manufacturer requirements.
- Experience mentoring or assisting developing technicians.
- General Motors brand training, repair experience, and certifications strongly valued (Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac).
