Job Summary**

You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electronic devices and computer hardware to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities**

* Perform in-depth diagnostics on malfunctioning electronic equipment, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals, to identify root causes of issues.
* Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades of hardware components such as motherboards, memory, hard drives, power supplies, and other internal/external parts.
* Conduct software troubleshooting, reinstallation of operating systems, driver updates, and data recovery as needed.
* Utilize schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools to accurately pinpoint and resolve technical problems.
* Document all repair activities, parts used, and test results thoroughly and accurately in the company's tracking system.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize repair processes and improve efficiency.
* Provide clear and concise communication regarding repair status and technical details.
* Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies, products, and repair techniques.
* Perform quality control checks on repaired items to ensure they meet performance standards before release.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in electronics, computer repair, or a related field preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in electronic device repair, computer hardware troubleshooting, or a similar technical role.
* Proficient in diagnosing and repairing PC hardware components and software issues.
* Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and common applications.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent manual dexterity and experience using hand tools for intricate repairs.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A+ certification or equivalent industry certifications are a plus.
* Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally.
