Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) - OBGYN

Inova Cares for Women is looking for a dedicated Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.

Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

- Performs essential duties necessary to clinic or non-acute operations to include:

Full Intakes
- Reconciliation of Medications
- Patient Education

- Serves as a clinical expert and a team lead for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment while communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others.
- Achieves desired patient outcomes using integrated approach.
- Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice.
- Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor to the outpatient team.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Licensure: RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience : 3 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous outpatient experience as a Registered Nurse
- Previous leadership, charge or preceptor experience
- ACLS from the American Heart Association
