JOB SUMMARY
Anesthesia technicians provide ancillary support to the anesthesia service under the supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider by maintaining and assembling adequate anesthesia supplies and equipment. They prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for the administration of general; regional or moderate anesthesia care. Due to the broad range of medical conditions they encounter; they must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma
Minimum Work Experience
- No previous experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- CPR-BLS
Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities
- Ability to deal effectively with community/consumers.
- Ability to deal effectively with hospital personnel and duties of position.
- Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
