Software Engineer - Full Stack (Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to join an Agile DevSecOps program focused on a mission-critical enterprise application that serves as the central platform for the submission, adjudication, search, discovery, and retrieval of geospatial intelligence data and associated collection requirements. The system manages workflows across a broad network of data suppliers and supports the full lifecycle of collection, exploitation, dissemination, and production requirements. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities:

As a member of an Agile scrum team, you will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities throughout the full development lifecycle, including designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that delivers logical and mathematical solutions to mission-critical problems. You will apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools across the lifecycle; integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and free/open-source software (FOSS) components; correct program errors; compile development documentation; analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition; and ensure software standards are defined and met. You will also validate that features and use cases are correctly incorporated into implemented designs and support integration with continuous delivery pipelines.

- Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, and Tempo

- Big data ingest technologies: JSON, Kafka, Microservices, Elasticsearch

- Analytics frameworks: Hive, Spark, PIG, OOZIE workflows

- Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, IMPALA, HUE

- COTS data platform integration: MongoDB, MySQL RDS, Logstash, Kibana, Kinetica

- Docker and Chef configuration management

- Selenium automated testing

Qualifications:

- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; must complete a customer crossover and be briefed before program start

- Must be a U.S. citizen
