About this role
Position Summary
The Engineer VI is responsible for leading engineering and design activities associated with power plant upgrades, plant modifications, and new generation projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of power plant systems, structures, and components, as well as the ability to independently apply engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will lead technical evaluations, develop design solutions, manage project execution, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve plant performance, safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program plus 15 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience.

Experience
- Minimum 15 years of related engineering experience.
- Direct field experience supporting nuclear plant projects.
- Experience with plant operating procedures, engineering processes, and nuclear licensing activities.

Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Licensure
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.

Candidates must be able to:
- Obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.
- Pass required security and drug screenings.
- Perform plant walkdowns in industrial environments.
- Climb ladders and navigate elevated work areas.
- Access security-controlled and restricted areas.
- Enter confined spaces and controlled hazardous areas as necessary.
- Travel to client sites and project locations.
- Work overtime when required to support project schedules and plant outages.
