About the Role
As an Associate Director, FI Sales in our Financial Institutions Sales, Markets Australia, you’ll play a key role in helping drive growth in the Financial Institutions Sales, Money Markets business in Australia. The role will be responsible for an existing portfolio of funding investor customers while also looking to grow market share and new business opportunities including short end securities distribution. Responsibilities also include promotion of digital adoption with our customers in order to improve customer experience and workflow efficiencies.

What will your day look like?
You will be accountable for:
- Achieve revenue target for individual client set
- Achieve revenue target and funding target for Money Market Sales.
- End-to-end trade life cycle management, including pricing, credit checking, deal input, end of day checks/settlement for deposits and short term OTC securities.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including focus customer coverage; this includes primary coverage of existing clients as well as generating growth in new target clients
- Source new business and new to bank client opportunities
- Promote digital adoption and utilisation of ANZ Markets channels.
- Actively utilise data to drive data-driven client insights
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve the customer and employee experience
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external process requirements
- Build and promote collaborative relationships across Financial Institutions Sales
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders, including other product areas and relationship coverage teams
- Create learning opportunities out of everyday situations to build product and customer knowledge
- Ensure adherence with Markets suitability frameworks, governance and conduct policies, processes and standards
- Ensure adherence with external regulatory requirements
What will you bring?

- Knowledge and experience across funding and fixed income products
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, understand and respond to client needs through active use of data
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to influence and collaborate with cross functional teams
- Adapts future approach on the basis of previous experience, mistakes and developmental feedback
- Proven ability to identify customer opportunities, build relationships and provide effective solutions
- Ability to identify risks and gaps in process with a solution mindset
