Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Department

The Job
- Be accountable for the production of deliverables within the agreed timescale, quality, and budget
- Establish and ensure the effectiveness of Scrum within the organisation
- Facilitate all Scrum events, ensuring they are positive, productive, and adhere to time constraints
- Support Product Owners and Scrum teams in maintaining a healthy backlog for current and upcoming sprints
- Remove impediments faced by the Scrum team to ensure smooth progress
- Help the Scrum team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done
- Ensure adherence to Agile principles, practices, and ceremonies within the team
- Identify and manage relationships through effective communication with the Scrum team and stakeholders
About You
- University degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Scrum Master Certification (e.g., Scaled Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT project management and project delivery
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading Scrum Teams as a Scrum Master in an IT development environment
- Experience with project delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience in working with offshore development centres is an advantage
