We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dedicated team in the Steel department.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare and/or assist in completing budgetary and final estimating of scopes of work

- Apply technical knowledge to support efficient estimating and cost-effective solutions

- Responsible for detailed cost estimates and qualification development for bid proposals

- Perform detailed structural and miscellaneous take-offs

- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy

- Assist with Project Controls (Schedule/Cost control)

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 Years’ experience specifically in estimating steel detailing projects

- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (especially Excel), Bluebeam, and Tekla Structures

- Work experience in tilt-up panel manufacturing facilities, and schools is an asset, but not required

- Must have experience in reading US design drawings

- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required

- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
