Leaf Planning Manager
(temporary 2-year contract)

About the role:
As a Leaf Planning Manager, you will support the Global Leaf Planning organization in managing and improving supply chain planning processes across a global manufacturing environment.
You will combine operational planning, data analysis and continuous improvement to help ensure that materials, production capacity and inventory are effectively aligned with business needs. The role offers broad exposure to supply chain planning processes and collaboration with teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial and Business Technology.
Depending on business priorities and your experience, your responsibilities may cover areas such as demand planning, sourcing and procurement planning, production and material planning, inventory management, capacity planning, supply planning, tactical planning, reporting and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning Operations
- Support the execution of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
- Monitor planning performance and identify potential risks affecting material availability, production plans, inventory levels and customer demand.
- Analyze planning issues and recommend corrective actions to support business and operational targets.
- Maintain accurate planning and master data to ensure reliable planning results and smooth system operation.
- Support inventory optimization and ensure the availability of materials and semi-finished products required for production.
- Contribute to balanced production and material planning, taking into account demand, inventory, capacity and operational constraints.
- Perform planning activities in enterprise resource planning systems and ensure that production and material plans remain aligned with changing business requirements.
- Ensure that planning activities follow established processes, standards and governance requirements.

Data Analysis and Decision Support
- Analyze planning, production, inventory and capacity data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular performance reports, key performance indicators and management presentations.
- Support scenario analysis and business simulations to evaluate different planning and capacity options.
- Analyze capacity utilization and identify potential bottlenecks and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Support decision-making by translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Improve reporting processes by developing standardized reports and dashboards that provide transparency and consistent information across functions.
- Contribute to establishing reliable data sources and improving data quality across planning processes.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for reporting, analytics and planning system improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial and Business Technology functions.
- Collaborate with planning teams across different markets, locations and manufacturing sites.
- Facilitate communication between planning teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, risks and actions.
- Support the coordination and standardization of planning activities across different markets and manufacturing locations.
- Communicate analytical findings and planning recommendations clearly to both operational teams and management.

Continuous Improvement and Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve planning processes.
- Contribute to projects focused on supply chain transformation, process optimization and digitalization.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise resource planning systems, reporting solutions and data visualization tools.
- Contribute to the development of Power BI dashboards and other analytical solutions where appropriate.
- Participate in system and reporting testing, user acceptance testing, documentation, training and deployment activities.
- Document processes and share knowledge to strengthen planning capabilities across the organization.
- Identify and implement practical improvements that enable faster, more reliable and data-driven decision-making.

What We Are Looking For:

Education
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
###
Professional Experience
- Professional experience in supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, operations, logistics or business analytics.
- Experience working in a multinational organization or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Practical experience with enterprise resource planning or supply chain planning systems, particularly SAP, is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting and translating business requirements into practical analytical or reporting solutions.
- Experience in demand planning, production planning, material planning, inventory management or capacity planning will be an advantage.
- Experience working with international and cross-functional teams is beneficial.

Technical Skills
- Strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Practical experience working with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the interdependencies between demand, supply, production, inventory and procurement.
- Strong interest in digital tools, data and analytics, with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
