Job Description – Senior Engineer L1

Experience

* 10+ years of overall IT experience in software development, database technologies, cloud platforms, and production support environments.

Technical Skills

1. Strong expertise in PL/SQL development, including complex query writing, stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning.
2. Proficiency in Python programming for automation, scripting, backend development, and data processing solutions.
3. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and other cloud-based data integration and deployment services.
4. Experience working with SQL-based databases and data warehousing platforms, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon Redshift.
5. Solid understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipeline development.
6. Exposure to Full Stack Development with the ability to contribute across both frontend and backend technologies.
7. Strong experience in Application Support and Production Support, including incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, bug fixing, and root cause analysis.
8. Familiarity with deployment processes, release management, and application support lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable database solutions and business applications.
* Develop, support, and enhance ETL workflows and cloud-based data integration solutions.
* Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and production-related issues through detailed analysis and troubleshooting.
* Analyze business requirements and propose scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.
* Develop automation tools and small-to-medium-scale applications using Python and Full Stack technologies.
* Ensure high system availability and provide timely resolution for production incidents and application issues.
* Take end-to-end ownership of change requests, including:

* Requirement analysis
* Solution design
* Development and testing
* Deployment and implementation
* Post-production support
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
* Adhere to development standards, best practices, and quality processes to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
