Role Details

Position: Public Facilities Cleaner

Location: Start and finish your day at our Alexandria depot

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 14:00 - 21:30, 3-5 shifts per week, Monday to Friday

Weekend work is available if desired

Hourly Pay: from $36.81 + Penalties and Super

Contract: Casual with the potential to become permanent based on performance

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to join our team servicing multiple public facilities across Sydney CBD.

You will be provided with a company vehicle (automatic electric van) and all equipment required to complete your work.

Duties Include

• Cleaning public toilets, change rooms, grandstands and community facilities
• Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and general cleaning duties
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces including taps, bubblers and handrails
• Graffiti removal and reporting maintenance concerns
• Travelling between multiple sites throughout the shift

About You

• Hold a current NSW Driver Licence to drive an automatic mid-size electric van between sites
• Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Capable of passing a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol tests
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards

Important Information

This role involves cleaning public facilities including toilets and amenities.

You may be exposed to biohazards such as bodily fluids, syringes, sharp objects and other hazardous waste as part of your duties. Appropriate training, PPE and equipment will be provided.
