Pharmaceutical Design Manager (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager (m/f/d) for our exciting Pharmaceutical Facilities project in Milan.

## Explore your tasks and responsibilities

- Coordinate disciplines and project activities, control and forecast engineering deliverables against schedule and project milestones
- Work in close coordination with procurement, subcontracting, construction and project controls teams
- Prepare and review material and construction requisitions for mechanical, piping and utility systems
- Manage the preparation of key multidisciplinary project documents (P&IDs, equipment lists, line lists, utility consumption data, design specifications, etc.)
- Organize, contribute to and document multidisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure timely project execution
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry requirements, quality standards and applicable regulations
- Support design reviews, risk assessments and technical evaluations throughout the project lifecycle
- Report directly to the Project Manager

## Show your expertise

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related discipline
- Several years of experience as Project Engineer, Lead Engineer or Design Manager within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences or related industries
- Strong understanding of GMP-regulated environments and pharmaceutical facility design is highly desirable
- Nice-to-have: Experience working on construction sites and brownfield projects
- Very good knowledge of Italian and English
- Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary and international teams

The salary range for this position is between € 54,500 and € 61,500 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
