Business Unit Overview
Global Commercial Services (GCS) provides payment and financial solutions to businesses of all sizes. The Global Client Group team in Spain focuses on developing and managing relationships with global B2B clients, working across functions to deliver American Express solutions, strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to improve the client experience and commercial performance.

About the Role

The Junior Project Analyst Intern will support the Global Commercial Sales function in Spain, specifically the Global Client Group and Global Clients development structure.

The intern will support commercial and process-related projects, working with different American Express functions and contributing to initiatives focused on process optimisation, B2B client satisfaction and day-to-day client management.

The internship will provide exposure to project management and client development within a multinational B2B services environment, as well as an opportunity to develop knowledge of American Express Global Commercial Services products and solutions.

Required Quelifications
• Currently enrolled in a university or Master's degree programme, preferably in Economics or a related field.

• Fluency in English and Spanish.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, think independently and proactively solve problems.

• Self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
• Interest in project management, commercial strategy and B2B client relationship management.

• Interest in working within a multinational and cross-functional environment.

• Strong analytical mindset and interest in using client feedback and reporting to support business decisions.

• Interest in financial services, payments and commercial solutions.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and across different business functions.

Hours: 35 hours per week

For Graduates:

Alongside your internship you will be enrolled on programme coordinated by Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE). This programme will allow students to focus on productivity, adaptive management and innovation, to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, collaborating directly on the management and optimization of commercial processes. The student will develop essential skills in project management, data analysis, and negotiation, which are critical for future integration into the labor market.

To enroll the programme, the candidate must have completed the degree or due to submit the final degree project, or the final degree project plus 9 ECTS max.
