KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Maintain Merseta / NAMB / QCTO / ISO 14001 / BBBEE / SABS compliance.
- Facilitation, assessment and moderation of apprentices and learners and artisans
- Conduct Fitter and Turner Trade- Phases 1-4
- Conduct Pre-Trade Test, Assessment, and Trade test for the Fitter and Turner Trade.
- Conduct Pneumatic and Hydraulic training.
- Innovative ideas in training to ensure cost reduction.
- Ensure all training records comply with the National Auditing Systems of MerSETA/NAMB/QCTO.
- Always maintain a safe environment.
- Planning and scheduling of training
- Development of curriculum modules of the Fitter & Turner Trade to ensure content is up to date continously.
- Rotational support into different departments.
- Presentations and information gathering / course content development for artisans
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- N4 AND Trade Tested Fitter and Turner Artisan
- Experience in training apprentices & Artisan’s within the Mechanical / Fitter and Turner Trades. Through levels 1-4, and up to and Including Trade Test.
- 5 years post apprenticeship, on the job experience, as an artisan.
- Assessor Certificate, Facilitator Certificate [Advantageous]
- Excellent PC skills. [Excel, Word & PowerPoint]
Advantageous
- Experience in either, the Manufacturing Industry / Steel Industry / Aluminium Processing Industry / Paper and Pulp Industry / Packaging Industry, and a clear understanding of / teaching Pneumatics / Hydraulics
- Moderator Certificate
