Successful candidate is responsible for transforming raw materials into final products per the required production schedule. The successful candidate will acquire hands-on skills and experience and apply them to routinely manufacture Vespel® products. The Specialist will be responsible for the manufacturing process from raw materials through final inspection and release to the ultimate customer.

Job Responsibilities

- Support operations in safety, quality, continuous improvement, personnel, and supply chain initiatives.
- Perform press setup and operation, including tooling installation/removal, material handling, and process documentation.
- Perform machining activities including turning, milling, coring, and machine setup.
- Study work orders, prints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
- Troubleshoot and rework machined parts when required.
- Operate ovens and related processes, includingcycle verification and documentation.
- Conduct final inspection and release of finishedparts.
- Carry out basic maintenance on manufacturingequipment.
- Responsible for maintaining shift-to-shift communication and documentation.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Working safely and complying with 5S requirements is a must.

Job Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a ProfessionalCertificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding)or equivalent
- Able to perform rotating shift work
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Preferably Technicians specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive, Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool &Die/Welding) or equivalent
