Learning and Development Advisor

- Attract, recruit, develop and retain early careers candidates through variety of academic and community related projects streams.
- Provide support and guidance to participants and line managers in all matters relating to Early Careers
- Ensure development and technical offerings are in line with and respond to, critical skills shortages and is compliant with industry and chartered professional bodies, national occupational standards (NVQs), alongside Costain’s requirements and budgetary provisions.
- Project-manage the scope and engagement of the graduate technical curriculum and implement for each annual intake in collaboration with key discipline stakeholders.
- Generate data and insights to continuously improve the relevance and quality of the Early Careers portfolio in collaboration with Costain’s preferred supplier network, academic and industry boards and subject matter experts within the business and the wider Talent and Development team.
- Manage and maintain schedule of Apprentice Tri-Partite reviews ensuring EC Advisor is in attendance for at least 2 reviews per annum alongside line managers ensuring progress reports and supplier quality is maintained
- Support the Early Careers strategy of relationships with partner universities/colleges and training providers

Essential

- Degree or equivalent in HR/Learning or relevant industry knowledge

- Understanding of the Early Carers Landscape
- Strong Customer Focus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting timescales
- Good team working skills
