About the role
As an internal auditor at VeroTech, you will support quality and compliance in an aerospace and defense environment. You will plan, conduct, report and follow up on audits that assess the Quality Management System, regulatory expectations, customer requirements and internal procedures.
Your work will focus on AS/EN9100 compliance , aviation regulations and industry-specific standards. By identifying risks, nonconformities, improvement opportunities and best practices, you will help strengthen operational excellence across technical and support processes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal audits across processes, systems and compliance areas
- Evaluate compliance with the Quality Management System , AS/EN9100, ISO 9001, aviation regulations, customer requirements and internal procedures
- Audit operational, manufacturing, engineering, repair, maintenance and support processes
- Identify risks, nonconformities, improvement opportunities and best practices across the organization
- Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders
- Follow up corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through risk-based thinking and audit insights
Requirements
What we're looking for
We are looking for an objective and detail-oriented quality professional with strong auditing expertise, aerospace or defense sector experience and the ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, manufacturing, maintenance or operational environments, excluding internships
- Mandatory experience within the aerospace, aeronautical, aviation or defense industry
- Demonstrated experience conducting process, system and compliance audits in AS/EN9100-based Quality Management Systems
- Thorough understanding of AS9100 / EN9100 requirements, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and auditing principles in line with ISO 19011
- Understanding of aerospace quality requirements, configuration management, risk management, product safety and counterfeit parts prevention
- Knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations and regulatory frameworks, with EASA Part-145 and/or BMAR Part-145 highly appreciated
- Preferred certifications include Certified Internal Auditor, AS9100 / EN9100 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor, or other aerospace quality and regulatory compliance certifications
