Enterprise Architect (Poland)

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to establish and lead architecture practices at a major EU agency headquartered in Warsaw. You will design and communicate the enterprise architecture and help projects and programmes comply with it.

What you will do

- Establish processes for developing and managing enterprise architecture.
- Design and maintain the architecture repository, and define transition roadmaps.
- Turn business, user and technical needs into architecture, mapping goals, priorities and system components.
- Design interoperability and interfaces between systems.
- Assess architecture maturity, and analyse the information systems portfolio, business processes and organisational structures.
- Run cost/benefit analyses of information systems.
- Support projects in planning, risk and change management, and ensure architectural compliance.
- Prepare documentation, business cases and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

- 8+ years of relevant IT experience, including 5+ years in a similar position.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, including building EA culture and practices across an organisation.
- Experience in the governance of the architecture function.
- Expert in enterprise and business architecture design, with knowledge of business processes, value streams and capability maps.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman or the Azure Well-Architected Framework, and of maturity models.
- Proficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris.
- Strong leadership, writing and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Education & languages

- Master's degree (EQF level 7) or equivalent.
- English level C1 or higher, with an official certificate or a language centre assessment.

Mandatory certification (at least one of)

- The Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA)
- Zachman Certified – Enterprise Architect
- CISSP-ISSAP
- ITIL v3 Master
- CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)
