We are looking for an experienced Quality and Assurance Manager to join our growing team in Lisbon, supporting the delivery of a major aviation and transportation programme. Working alongside clients, delivery partners and multidisciplinary project teams, you'll play a key role in driving quality excellence, improving performance and ensuring robust assurance processes are embedded throughout programme delivery.

As Quality and Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving quality management systems, supporting compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, and helping project teams achieve the highest standards of delivery.

You will work across the programme to identify opportunities for improvement, manage audit activities, analyse performance data and provide practical recommendations that enhance quality, reduce risk and support successful project outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Managing the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of quality management systems.
- Planning, managing and undertaking internal and external audits.
- Producing audit reports and advise teams on improvement opportunities.
- Investigating non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Developing and maintaining quality reporting, dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Reviewing processes, procedures and management system documentation to enhance effectiveness and compliance.
- Supporting management reviews through data analysis and performance reporting.
- Delivering quality-related training, guidance and awareness initiatives.
- Engaging with project teams, stakeholders and supply chain partners to promote best practice.
- Monitoring supplier performance and support the development of quality capabilities across the supply chain.
- Contributing to business improvement initiatives and the adoption of efficient ways of working.
- Supporting sustainability objectives and the transition to net zero carbon delivery.

You’ll need to have :

- You will be a collaborative and proactive quality professional with experience working in complex infrastructure, engineering, transportation or programme environments.

- Experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Management or Assurance role.
- Experience conducting first and second-party audits.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and operational controls.
- Knowledge of recognised industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience implementing quality tools, processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- HNC/HND, degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering, infrastructure or related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software tools.
- Fluent English and Portuguese language skills.
- Passionate about quality and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable challenging constructively and influencing decision-making.
- Naturally collaborative and relationship focused.
- Adaptable and resilient within complex programme environments.
- Detail-oriented but able to see the bigger picture.
