Accoutant

Purolite, an Ecolab company and global leader in resin-based separation and purification technologies, is looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in Victoria, Brasov.

In this role, you'll support the company's accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and efficient day-to-day financial operations.

What You Will Do:

- Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger
- Prepare reconciliations of general ledger account balances, identifying and resolving reconciling items
- Update various reports with current month-end information (discretionary spend, intercompany detail, allocation entry)
- Manage sales invoicing activities, including e-Invoice processing and reporting
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, ensuring timely reconciliations and payments
- Support month-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Monitor and record provisions, prepaid expenses, and other accounting transactions
- Prepare statutory reports, tax filings, and information required by local authorities
- Prepare basic financial reports
- Maintain customer master data and ensure accuracy within the ERP system
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide financial information and analysis as needed
- Stay up to date with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance

What you'll need:

- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Good knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- English proficiency
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
- Result oriented, proactive, and possess a high level of integrity

Nice to have:

- ACCA, CECCAR, or other relevant professional qualifications
- Power BI knowledge and experience
