Summary of the role:
The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing iMaker’s social media presence, content creation, and graphic design production. The role will develop engaging visual and written content that reflects the company’s luxury positioning, projects, and brand identity, while supporting overall marketing and brand awareness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies, with a strong focus on Instagram and other relevant platforms.
- Work closely with the Head of Interior Design to establish content direction, themes, and social media strategy.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar, including posts, reels, stories, and other relevant content.
- Create high-quality graphic and visual content for social media, presentations, campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Transform architectural and interior design projects into engaging and visually compelling social media content.
- Utilize AI tools for visual creation, ideation, enhancement, and content development.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure content accurately represents the company’s design standards and brand identity.
- Coordinate the collection and preparation of project photography, videos, drawings, renders, and other design assets for social media use.
- Monitor social media trends, formats, and emerging creative tools relevant to the architecture, interior design, and luxury sectors.
- Ensure consistency in visual identity, tone of voice, quality, and presentation across all social media platforms.
- Track social media performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and content performance.
- Perform other duties as required by the management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant developments in digital marketing and social media.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and graphic design, preferably within architecture, interior design, real estate, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of architecture and interior design and the ability to communicate these projects effectively through social media.
- Exceptional aesthetic sense and attention to detail, with a strong understanding of composition, typography, color, visual storytelling, and luxury branding.
- Strong visual judgment, with the ability to select and curate high-quality project images and details.
- Able to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign professionally, with experience using Canva to edit visuals.
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance creativity and productivity.
- Basic knowledge in video editing, using tools such as Premiere Pro to edit video content, if needed.
- Strong copywriting skills with excellent English and the ability to create refined, engaging captions aligned with a luxury brand tone.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics.
- Creative and proactive, capable of developing original campaigns, Reel concepts, trend adaptations, and storytelling ideas, beyond simply following social-media trends.
- Ability to highly organized and self-driven, able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and content requirements independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with the Architecture, Interior Design, and 3D teams to develop relevant content.
Working conditions and environment:
- Position is full-time based from our New Cairo office, 5-days a week.
- The position requires minimal international travel.
