About this role
We are looking for a Credit Controller, RSSC who will assess and manage customer credit risk, support informed credit decisions, and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables. The role is responsible for maintaining a healthy customer portfolio through credit analysis, credit limit management, risk monitoring, and proactive collection activities, while ensuring compliance with company credit policies and protecting the organization's financial interests.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up outstanding invoices via phone and written communication.
- Discuss payment terms and repayment plans with customers.
- Manage your own customer portfolio. Send payment reminders via SAP.
- Conduct customer credit assessments and financial analysis.
- Prepare and review CAFs, providing risk-based recommendations.
- Manage credit limits and trade credit insurance coverage.
- Monitor eCAF renewals and ensure timely approvals.
- Track high-risk accounts and exceeded credit limit cases, escalating issues as required.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and support credit governance activities.
- Timely and accurate collection of outstanding invoices.
- Effective follow-up with customers and payment agreements.
- Accurate processing and allocation of payments.
- Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality and completeness of reporting.
- Effective monitoring of CAFs and eCAF renewals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Credit Management, including creditworthiness assessment, financial analysis, credit limit management, and insurance coverage.
- Strong collections skills—tracking overdue invoices, negotiating payment terms, and managing the customer portfolio.
- SAP and ERP skills—sending notifications, processing and correctly allocating payments, and maintaining records.
- Analytical and reporting skills—preparing and reviewing CAF/eCAF reports, monitoring risks, and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Communication and stakeholder management – collaborating effectively with internal and external teams, managing high-risk cases, and escalating issues appropriately.
