The Work You Will Do:
Tenant Relations and Facility Security Manager / Support Services Office
Supervise staff responsible for safety, security, hospitality, and front desk operations, ensuring adherence to all protocols and procedures. Oversee visitor check in, badging, parking permits, customer service, and recordkeeping.
Manage security cameras, access control systems, badge inventory, and electronic security and fire alarm systems, including related contracts, maintenance, and upgrades. Coordinate safety inspections, evacuation teams, emergency response training, and accident investigations.
Serve as the main contact for tenant needs and facility issues. Manage budgets, payments, and financial tracking for multiple FDOT facilities, maintain records, and prepare required reports.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Manages the Guest Services and Security section. Supervises employees spending the majority of the time communicating with, motivating, training, planning, and directing employee's work. Has the authority to effectively recommend the hiring, transferring, suspension, layoff, recalls, promotions, dishcarges, rewards, or disciplinary action for subordinate employees. Supervise staff responsible for safety, security, hospitality, and front desk operations. Ensure staff compliance with safety and security protocols and internal procedures.
Oversee front desk standardized visitor check-in and badging procedures in compliance with FDOT. Monitor front desk activities, including visitor acess control and reception duties, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all records and interactions. Oversee issuance and maintenance of parking permits for Central Office personnel and visitors. Serve as the main point of contact for all visitors’ inquiries and issue resolution. Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and service records in a confidential and organized manner. Generate reports on guest traffic, service performance, and compliance metrics. Ensure adherence to visitor access and security policies, including screening, escorting, and emergency response protocols. Manage hospitality, reception staffing, and equipment maintenance contracts to ensure continuous, high-quality service delivery. Serving as the primary contract manager and works directly with contractors for system maintenance, repair, and upgrades. Conduct daily reviews of security cameras, video footage, and access control systems to identify and address operational or safety issues. Manage the issuance, tracking, and inventory of security badges for access control.
Manage, monitor, and enforce electronic security and fire alarm systems for assigned facilities. Oversee contract terms and conditions related to safety, security, and fire alarm systems. Oversee the purchase and maintenance of all access control equipment, supplies, and related systems.
Serve as the Safety Coordinator for the Support Services Office for fire and evacuations team. Coordinate quarterly and semi-annual evacuation team meetings, maintain mobility-impaired rosters, and conduct safety drills. Conduct safety training and emergency response sessions quarterly for Support Services Office. Perform regular safety evaluations and inspections of the Central Office Facilities in accordance with State Fire Marshal and DOT Safety Office requirements. Lead accident investigations, prepare reports, and address root causes to prevent recurrence. Coordinate quarterly and semi-annual evacuation team meetings and conduct safety drills. Maintain safety records and ensure staff familiarity with emergency response procedures, including bomb threats, fire alarms, and active shooter response.
Manage the monthly operating budget, including invoices, encumbrances, and financial transactions through MyFlorida, FACTS, CFM, and FLAIR systems. Oversee payments and financial tracking for security and fire systems contracts, maintenance services, and facility-related projects. Monitor and manage expenses related to the Burns Building, Barry Building, Johnson Building, and Springhill Facility. Compile data analyses for security monitoring, access control, and video recovery. Maintain records retention and submit regular reports in accordance with state and agency guidelines.

- Skilled in access control systems, video surveillance, and fire/security systems. Knowledge of building security, automated security systems, and security operating standards.
