PURPOSE OF JOB:
To operate the Stratatec Tufting Machine and keep a record during the shift of production and downtime.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitor carpet quality.
- Navigate SAP.
- Navigate Barco
- Must work in a team Environment.
- Ability to Mend.
- Abide by our WCM Philosophies.
- Ability to run knots efficiently.
- Change backing.
- Make out roll tickets.
- Doff rolls.
- Housekeeping of area.
- Other duties as instructed by supervisor.
NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to bend, pull, and lift
- Ability to see and thread multiple colors.
- Ability to read, write, and do basic math
- Knowledge of air splicer
- Ability to understand graphic patterns
- Ability to tie weaver's knot
- Preferred High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Prior experience operating a tufting machine with all ends controlled by servos
