Linux & Platform Specialist

We are currently looking for an experienced and technically driven Linux and Platform Specialist who wants to work in an advanced IT environment focused on container platforms, databases, and infrastructure.

In this role, you will work closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure the stable operation and ongoing development of platforms based on Linux and Kubernetes/OpenShift. You will contribute your expertise in system administration, networking, and databases, while supporting technical decisions related to platform architecture, security, and license management.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of a complex IT environment where stability, security, and performance are critical. You will play a key role in ensuring that platforms and systems operate efficiently and sustainably over time.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge and experience in:

- 6+ years of professional working experience
- Experience with Linux administration
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Data Lake and/or Data Warehouse ecosystems
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (OpenTofu/Ansible)

Bonus points if you have experience with:

- Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Apache Foundation software
- Cloud providers AWS/GCP/Azure
- Previous work as a consultant

AI Workflow Nice-to-have

· D aily, working use of at least one AI coding assistant (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) on real production work

· A bility to critically review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability and to recognize when not to delegate to an agent

· A practical, perspective on where AI assistants help and where they don't

· Comfort iterating on prompts and context (e.g., project-level context files, structured instructions) to get reliable output

Language requirements:

- Fluent in English.
