Fry/Grill Cook (Part-Time)

Position Overview

Amber Brooke Farms is looking for an energetic and dependable Part-Time Fry/Grill Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing great food for our guests.

The Fry/Grill Cook will prepare and cook a variety of menu items while maintaining high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Availability for weekends, holidays, special events, and private parties is important for this seasonal position.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items using fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment.

- Prepare meats, vegetables, starches, and other menu items according to established procedures.

- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is properly prepared.

- Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation.

- Set up, stock, clean, and break down the cooking station.

- Safely operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment.

- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, storage, and temperature-control procedures.

- Keep the kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and ready for service.

- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure timely order preparation.

- Assist with the Square POS system as needed, including during busy service periods.

- Perform other Food & Beverage duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment preferred.

- Previous restaurant, food service, grill, or fry-cook experience is a plus.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods.

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, special events, and private parties .
