Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Department is seeking a customer-service-minded Human Resources Manager to lead and coordinate HR activities for one or more ODMHSAS facilities. This position will supervise a dedicated HR team consisting of an HR Business Partner and two Recruiters, providing leadership and direction across recruitment, employee relations, personnel actions, and other HR services.

The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions-focused HR leader who communicates effectively, handles sensitive matters with discretion, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service to employees, applicants, and agency leadership. This position will advise facility and agency leadership on personnel matters, interpret and apply applicable state and federal employment laws, the Oklahoma Administrative Code, Civil Service Division provisions, policies, and procedures, and provide guidance on complex HR matters.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, the Oklahoma Administrative Code, Civil Service Division provisions, and other applicable personnel policies
- HR experience within the state system, including experience utilizing and navigating Workday
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and personnel matters
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret applicable rules and laws, and resolve complex HR matters including recruitment and employee relations
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and four years of professional level experience in human resources management
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements:
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
- Applicants must be willing to work in-person in the OKC metro area
