Box Truck Driver

Midwest Direct helps our clients efficiently create and deliver their print, mail and digital messages with the best audience data for targeted and accurate deliverability. When you add in our additional delivery channels, such as email, Informed Delivery, and online advertising, we average over two million messages a day delivered to mailboxes, inboxes and online.

Midwest Direct is looking for a Box Truck Driver!

**$500 Sign-On Bonus!**

Job Duties Include:

- Transporting cargo to and from clients and job site.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform random mail piece quality checks such as correct dates; presort endorsement and class of mail.

- Verify physical container counts, match counts on pick up slips.

- Inspect assigned vehicle per the Midwest Direct Presort Services pre-trip inspection guidelines and procedures daily. Report any defective findings to the Transportation Supervisor to be fixed immediately.

- Maintain a daily drivers log or route sheet for stops and cargo.

- Maintain pickup and delivery schedules meeting deadlines.

- Keep vehicle clean.

Schedule:

- Monday - Friday

- 2pm - 11pm

- Days and times may vary!

Compensation:

- Starting at $19/ hr

Qualifications

- Know and understand safety and security precautions and follow company policies.

- Ability to drive a 23 ft box truck.

- Ability to read a map and understand directions.

- Minimum of 21 years in age.

- Valid state motor vehicle operators license in the state where the driver resides (CDL Class B).

- Minimum of 5 years verifiable driving experience with safe driving record.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test!
