The VP Marketing is responsible for leading the creative direction and social media content, building hype for the event, and overseeing the Marketing Coordinators.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks
efficiently.
- Leadership experience, including delegating tasks and giving feedback.
- Experience in graphic design and video editing (required).
- A strong creative eye and understanding of Instagram and short-form video trends.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction and build hype for Grad Night on social media.
- Develop the promotional strategy and calendar, including ideas for Instagram Reels.
- Create and edit promotional graphics and videos, including the video shown at the event.
- Lead two Marketing Coordinators, delegating tasks and approving content.
- Communicate important event information to graduates.
- Participate in regular in-person executive team meetings and contribute to
decision-making.
- Other ad hoc tasks as needed to deliver one of the best experiences to the graduating class.

- Leadership experience directing the creative side of a large-scale event.
- Strengthened video editing, content creation, and social media marketing skills.
- Enhanced project management skills through involvement in planning and executing the graduation night.
