This position is 100% outside. Starting pay $20.00 to $22.50 per hour to start depending on experience.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars
- Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records
- Serve our customers through providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience operating lift truck to load/unload lumber and steel products.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment
- Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed
- Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork
- Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled
- Positive, clear, and professional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience. Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment
- Lumber and Steel experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work outside the entire shift.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be willing and able to slide, push, or pull cases up to 60 pounds
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
