Join Our International Team as a Project Engineer!

Wyma Europe provides post-harvest solutions for the fresh produce industry. We’re looking for a Project Engineer with a mechanical background who enjoys managing and delivering capital projects. In this role, you will have full control over the project life cycle from design, installation, commissioning, to handover, while ensuring key deliverables in cost, time, and performance are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully lead and manage projects across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.
- Take full responsibility for project delivery from initiation to completion. Review project proposals, plan timeframes, procedures, staffing requirements, and allocate resources effectively.
- Manage P&L with commercial and financial accountability, including revenue and margin delivery, budget forecasting, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, AP/AR, and cash collection.
- Negotiate changes to project scope or specifications with customers, ensuring adherence to change management processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A mechanical engineering qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in 3D modelling software (Autodesk Inventor).
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong numeracy and data analysis skills.
