Product Data & Components Manager

The Product Data & Components Manager is responsible for the end ‑ to ‑ end ownership of the organization’s Product Data Management (PDM) platform, ensuring engineering data is secure, accessible, compliant, and optimized for cross ‑ functional collaboration. This role manages system configuration, performance, integrations, workflows, and user adoption across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and IT. The incumbent will also have responsibility for creating, maintaining, processing, releasing, and governing a comprehensive digital parts library within the Product Data Management (PDM) system.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong governance instincts, deep PDM expertise, solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with the Parts Library and processes, and the ability to drive operational excellence across a complex engineering ecosystem.

Required

- 5+ years of experience administering PDM, Autodesk Vault, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar systems
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and familiarity with 3DExperience and Costpoint
- Familiarity with integration between PDM and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of SQL, metadata structures, archive server architecture, and PDM workflows
- Demonstrated experience with SDLC, structured change control, and configuration governance
- Familiarity with Azure, hybrid cloud environments, and secure government cloud frameworks
- Experience in parts management, configuration management, or related fields
- Working knowledge of ANSI Y14.1, ANSI/EIA 649, and ISO-9000 standards
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices

Desired

- Experience with data governance, parts standardization, and digital library management.
- Familiarity of DoW/Navy contract requirements and compliance processes.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Recognized for achievements, technical expertise, and professional standing within selected field.
- Prior supervisory or functional leader experience
- Technical training in CAD software, Engineering, or Electronics.

The salary range for this position is $128,100 - $192,100
