About this role
To lead and develop multi‑sector skills partnerships that align education, employment and skills to the workforce needs of our long‑term growth plans. The role brings together employers, supply chains, educators, local authorities, community and youth organisations to create inclusive talent pipelines, with a strong focus on young people, SEND learners and groups facing barriers to opportunity.
The role is responsible for consulting with stakeholders on the Economic Development Framework to ensure diverse voices are heard, analysed and turned into an inclusive skills strategy for the statutory Development Consent Order submission.
The role also embeds measurable social value, inclusion and impact reporting across skills partnerships, ensuring that investment in skills delivers tangible outcomes and long‑term benefits for local communities, the wider economy and our business.

- Build and manage effective multi-sector partnerships with senior leaders across employers, training providers, local authorities and voluntary/community bodies, with a focus on youth organisations, schools/colleges and the SEND sector.
- Facilitate stakeholder dialogue (workshops, meetings and forums) to enable constructive discussion, balanced participation and high-quality feedback, engaging effectively with diverse audiences including young people and SEND learners.
- Plan ahead, set priorities and adapt delivery using data and insights; analyse and translate feedback (especially from young people and SEND learners) into clear, evidence-based recommendations for strategy and senior decision-making.
- Inspire, engage and influence senior leaders and partner organisations through strong communication, active listening, empathy and effective questioning to build understanding and trust.
- Navigate competing stakeholder interests, resolve disagreement and maintain momentum, while embedding social value principles to promote equality, diversity and inclusion in skills collaborations.
