General Summary:

The Preconstruction Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the communication between FD/E and Ace project members as it pertains to fabrication expectations and deliverables.

Mandatory Hiring Requirements:

References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in Preconstruction Meetings and review applicable sections related to

- Identify E. options, early project needs, RFI’s for PM to address.

- Complete the Project Checklist with Superintendent and/or PM for submission to FD/E.

- Participate in Ace-FD/E Preconstruction Meetings to establish schedule, expectations, and responsibilities of each participant.

- Ensure compliance with the requirements of the plans and

- Work with Superintendents to ensure that the fabrication on assigned projects is properly scheduled as project conditions change.

- Identify and communicate Fabrication opportunities to the Superintendent and ACE Fabrication manager.

- Document Quality Control issues observed on projects for PM to address with FD/E.

- Provide appropriate and constructive feedback to PM, DM, and FD/E.

- Participate in the coordination between Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Specialties (Elevator, Fire Protection, ), and identify changes as a result of the coordination – lug sizes, breaker sizes, disconnect sizes, etc.

- Recount all items for buyouts such as Fixtures/Gear/Cable Tray/Devices.

- Update Gear & Fixture Logs when Mechanical-Electrical coordination is complete, and after items are recounted.

- Coordinate material shipment locations. (Shop, Field, Prefab etc.)

Position Requirements:

- License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the

- Certification: None

- Education: High School Graduate or

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years general office

Working Conditions:
