Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To assist the AAA and department with daily duties, create posters, create and lead events and special projects, and write program reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● To perform daily office tasks as needed
(scanning, copying, distributing mail and posters, etc)
● To assist AAA with maintaining department website
● To assist AAA and department Chair with compiling department newsletter
● To create and lead events with little or no supervision
● To create a how to guide and write program report for events
● To create budget for events

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

- Communication

- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Skill in using Microsoft office, Canva (or other design software)

- Knowledge of WordPress or the ability to learn

- Knowledge of Philosophy discipline

Preferred : Familiarity with Philosophy department faculty, staff, students, and events.
