Dates: 28th June 2027 - 17th September 2027 Working hours: 09:00 - 17:30 We are looking for exceptional students to join us for a 12-week summer internship within our world-class technology teams. These functions are central to our engineering efforts. As an intern you will work across a range of platforms that support our quantitative research. You will contribute to the development, enhancement and modernisation of the systems that underpin our business, gaining valuable experience with both legacy and cutting-edge technologies. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will write production-level code, collaborate with experienced software engineers and contribute to high-impact projects from day one.
Requirements
We’re seeking sharp, curious and pragmatic software engineers who are eager to work at the intersection of finance and technology. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Studying towards a 2:1 or above in Computer Science or a closely related discipline Graduating in 2028 and currently in their penultimate year Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as C#, Java or C++ Strong understanding of core computer science concepts, such as algorithms, data structures and systems architecture An interest in how engineering supports quantitative research and complex systems at scale A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving with sound judgement A proactive approach to improving code, systems and ways of working Clear communicate skills across technical and non-technical teams A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share ideas, feedback and knowledge
