The  VP Servicing  will oversee all responsibilities assigned to the Servicing Team. Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leadership:

- Department Oversight: Manage daily loan operations, including payment processing, record reconciliation, and escrow account administration (such as taxes and insurance), loan boarding, and collateral perfection.
- Supervise loan servicing specialists, handle performance reviews, provide coaching, and set performance goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all servicing activities adhere to federal, state, and internal banking regulations and investor guidelines.
- Escalation Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for complex borrower complaints, tier-3 servicing issues, and technical system problems.
- Process Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies, update internal procedures, and implement new tracking or core software tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments like accounting, treasury, credit, portfolio management, collections, special assets group, and origination to streamline handoffs and resolve portfolio discrepancies

Team’s Responsibilities:

- Servicing Conventional loans on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure the team is boarding loans within required time frames.
- Ensure positive and negative reporting is provided to reporting government agencies monthly and/or quarterly
- Ensure reports are provided to Bank Partners, FHLB, SBA and State accurately and within required time frames.
- Oversee the process of draws for RLOC.
- Ensure the Post-closing loan process is managed appropriately.  The Post-closing loan process includes but is not limited to updating the tickler report.
- Obtain and organize requested loan information needed for internal audits as well as external audits performed by Lendistry’s partners.
- Support the preparation of  packages for purchased loan by Investors/Banks.
- Ensures team is releasing collateral upon loan termination and release of UCC filings.
- Customer retention and communication.
- Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the department.

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise

- Experience with Northridge Loan Servicing System is preferre.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or 7 years of equivalent experience.
- Financial services work experience of 5-7 years.
- Detailed oriented and strong organization skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must work effectively with other staff members and work well in a busy environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sophisticated word processing and computer database skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, operations and regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines, including extended work hours.
- Exhibit a professional, business-like appearance and demeanor.

Compensation Range

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$136,000 annually.

Physical Requirements

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
