- Base Pay: Starting at $15.50/hr, with higher rates based on experience
- 2nd Shift Differential: +$2.00/hr
- Weekend Differential: +$2.00/hr
- Perfect Attendance Bonus (Part-Time): +$2.00/hr
What You Can Earn
- Second Shift: $17.50 to $21.50/hr depending on experience and incentives

Who Are You?
As a Second Shift CNA Float , you are a dependable and adaptable caregiver who helps ensure residents receive exceptional care, comfort, and support throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Working 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM in a Float/Studio role , you are comfortable responding to resident needs and assisting wherever support is needed within the Assisted Living community.
You understand that resident care is about more than completing tasks. It is about creating peace of mind for residents and families by providing a safe, secure, and compassionate presence when it matters most.

A Day in the Life
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Respond promptly and compassionately to resident call lights and requests
- Conduct routine resident rounds and monitor for changes in condition, reporting concerns to licensed nursing staff
- Support resident safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the second shift hours
- Provide Float/Studio support throughout the Assisted Living community based on resident and operational needs
- Monitor the front desk area as needed, answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with basic inquiries
- Help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entrances, following procedures, and reporting unusual activity
- Complete documentation accurately and communicate important information during shift handoff
- Assist with light housekeeping and organizational tasks as needed to support resident care and community operations
- Foster a respectful, professional, and supportive atmosphere for residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications
License/Certification
- Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the State of Kansas required
- Valid CPR certification required
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service environments preferred
Skills
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during second shift hours
- Strong observation, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining excellent resident service
- Comfortable balancing resident care responsibilities with front desk monitoring duties
- Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented approach to caregiving
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations
